LOCATION!!!! PROPS

Our main character is a girl and we all decided that because I'm the only girl in the group we should use my bedroom for shooting all of the Samantha Evans ( in bed scenes). It also made sense as it was much easier to film the whole thing in one location being my home. Our Main character Samantha Evans is a very girly girl and that is reflected in her bedroom. As the set designer it was also my responsibility to provide all of the props. We filmed in the bedroom, hallway, stairs and my front porch inorder to film the wheelie bin in which Samantha throws Grimaldi in. Our open title sequence is not fancy it is rather simple. It will hopefully develop our audiences mind and also prompt them to thinking, how,why and what the whole way through. This technique should hopefully make the audience anticiapte the rest of the film.

We actually filmed last week. The first session had to be cancelled due to the clown toy not arriving in time which was really a waste of time. To futher complicate our dilemma it has snowed constantly this whole week which has hindered the editing process Moe and Sam were supposed to undertake. I personally feel behind sechdule and we had to cancel our double media lesson on wednesday due to the snow. The only good thing to come from this ghastly weather is the fact I have had some well needed time to focus my attention on my coursework. There are some pictures of the props and locations.

Alarm Clock that we used. This was Samanatha Evans wake up call in the sequence. It was provided by me and I have had it for many years.

This is the bin Samantha Evans throws Grimaldi in to. It is my own wheelie Bin provided by my fabolous council Lewisham!!!

This is Samantha Evans downstairs hallway. Due to the light downstairs being bright it meant the camera could see everything clearly as it was very dark outside.

This is Samanatha Evans house. This is where we filmed the whole title sequence.

Grimaldi our antagonist. I bought Grimaldi from Amazon it took about two weeks for him to be delivered. He cost £13.57 including postage and packing.

We did not have a huge budget for our sequence so we had to make do with what we had. Due to our good thinking, borrowing and me having the props in my room it was very inexpensive to make this sequence the only and most expensive thing was Grimaldi. I also have to stress on how difficult it is to actually purchase a toy clown from highstreet shops. I took time and effort before finding this toy clown that is actually for babies.
