What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?


Firstly here are all the diffrent technologies I used whilst working on both my blog and filming.

Blogger- To put all my work on blogger, to see how I have progressed on a daily basis.

Microsoft Word - To write my blog posts on so there is correct grammer and sentences on my blog.

Microsoft powerpoint - To create my presentations, graphs, tables.

Prezi- To create my character profile and to create my ' What is a open title sequence' presentation

Mindjet- To create my intial ideas mindmap, narrative theorey mind map

Slideshare/ Scribed - To put presentations on my blog such as ' Reservoir Dogs opening analysis' and presentations on what is a thriller?

Microsoft paint - to create moodslide and cut/paste pictures from the internet.

Google- Researching target audience, reading about saul bass, Kyle cooper, Alfred Hitchcock, finding information about films, finding pictures.

Youtube- Finding open sequences, embedding them on to my blog, using links, putting my preliminary and film on tube. Researching other AS Level open sequences.

Freeplaymusic- To find copyright free music.

Adobe premiere 3/ Photoshop - To create film poster, film company logo, animatic of storyboard, editing of the preliminary task and main task.

My phone NOKIA N900- I could upload posts on my blog via my phone.

This is the camera used to record the title sequence. Sony SR220.

As you can see I have used alot of diffrent programs inorder to work on this project. I learnt how to embed from youtube to blogger, how to charge the camera, use the zoom, night vision and other functions on the camera. Im not very good with technology and whilst working on this project I have become very confident and competent with all things media :) . This project also made me realize just how important and useful technology is. Without gadgets such as my phone, Programs like Adobe, Microsoft Paint/ Powerpoint. It would not be possible for me to do any of this. Researching online any time when I needed some information was quick & useful. The fact that I could also watch diffrent films/openings/previous As students films was also a big help and that would not be possible without YouTube.
