Synopsis

Our first scene begins in girls handbag from the point of view of her clown keyring.she gets home and places the clown key ring on her computer. As she is typing the eyes of the clown move. She notices this and jumps and throws it off the computer and it falls on the floor. She thinks it’s her mind playing tricks on her and goes downstairs to have a little break from her work. She goes back upstairs to continue typing on her computer and sees it sitting on her computer once again. More agitated now she picks it off the computer desk and throws it into the bin. She goes to bed and a new day begins as she wakes up (long shot from the clown’s point of view) (over the shoulder shot of the clown). She raises her head up and is horrified to find the clown there again and begins to scream wildly.

Throughout this opening sequence it is filmed from the point of view of the clown.

It is a clown based thriller/horror that not only is very scary but it has comic elements which add to create such a thick tension. When i watched this i was interested but also very gruesome and it had me on the edge of my seat. We are using IT as a sort of inspiration as this is where the idea stemmed from but it is very different and we are still toying with the idea whether the clown in our title sequence is evil or good. This has also made me think that this film/open title sequence might not just be a thriller but it could be a thriller horror as the elements of the clown are supernatural at one point we also wanted the clown to grow from a small key ring into a big clown and we are still exploring this for when it comes to shooting the title sequence. This film has really been an inspiration to both I and my group members as we really like the idea of an evil clown but also to use bits of ironic comedy to make the audience feel uneasy.
